CRMSDC awards TekConnx, as one of the best in the region

COLUMBIA, MD, September 21, 2016 — The Capital Region Minority Supplier Development Council announced that Kevin Williams and Earl Bentley, of TekConnX, were named 2016 Top 100 MBE winners. This award recognizes owners of minority business enterprises in Maryland, Virginia, and District of Columbia who has demonstrated exceptional entrepreneurial accomplishments, a high level of professionalism, and have made substantial contributions to their community.

The Top 100 MBE Awards, created in 2007 and evolved through a need to recognize and celebrate the creativity and innovation of regional MBEs who are role models and inspire the entire community.

2016 was the first time CRMSDC combined the awards ceremony with their annual awards. The Top 100 MBE awards will be presented at CRMSDC’s 35th Annual Leaders and Legends Awards Ceremony on September 30th. The event will be held at the Clarice Smith Center Performing Arts, Dekelboum Concert Hall, located at 8270 Alumni Drive in College Park, Maryland.
